Today is the last day of noting objections for Coastal Road
Mumbai, 26th: Monday (27th) is the last day to send suggestions and objections for the 33-km coastal road between Nariman Point and Kandivali. Until Thursday, the Municipal Corporation has received 65 suggestions and objections so far.
The Municipal Corporation had released the project report of Coastal Road last month. Suggestions and objections were sought from the citizens. For this project, filling will be done in the sea. Mangroves will also have to be cut down. Therefore, environmentalists have opposed the project. The Koliwadas and fishing activity is also going to be affected. Because of this, the Koli community is also opposed to the project. But compared to their protests, not many suggestions and objections have been received.

मुंबई, ता. २६ : नरिंमन पॉईंटते कांदिवलीदरम्यानच्या ३३किलोमीटरच्या किनारी मार्गासाठी(कोस्टल रोड) सूचना व हरकतीपाठवण्याचा सोमवार (ता. २७) हाशेवटचा दिवस आहे. गुरुवारपर्यंतमहापालिकेकडे अबघ्या ६५ सूचना वहरकती आल्या आहेत.
महापालिकेने सागरी किनारा भार्गाचा.. प्रकल्प अहवाल गेल्यामहिन्यात जाहीर केला होता. त्यावरनागरिकांकडून सूचना व हरकतीमागवल्या होत्या. या प्रकल्पासाठीसमुद्रात भराव टाकण्यात येणार आहे.त्यात खारफुटीही तोडावी लागणारआहे. त्यामुळे पर्यावरणप्रेमींनीप्रकल्पाला विरोध केला आहे.या मार्गातील कोळीवाडे आणिमासेमारीचाही प्रश्‍न निर्माण झालाआहे. यामुळे कोळी समाजाचाहीत्याला विरोध आहे; मात्र त्या तुलनेततेवढ्या सूचना व हरकती आलेल्यानाहीत.
