Demand to name the Coastal Road after Kalam
Mumbai, 28th: The Shiv Sena has demanded that the proposed coastal road in Mumbai be named after late Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray. On Tuesday, the Samajwadi party made a jibe at the Shiv Sena. Former President A.P. J. Party MLA Abu Azmi demanded the name of APJ Abdul Kalam be given instead.
The Shiv Sena has demanded that the 33 km stretch from Nariman Point to Kandivali should be named after Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray. He has given a letter about it to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. On Tuesday, the Samajwadi Party demanded the name of APJ Abdul Kalam. Controversies had also taken place over the naming of many big projects in Mumbai. Now even politics has turned entertaining with the matter of whose name to give the coastal road.
कोस्टल रोडलाकलामांचेनाव देण्याची मागणी
मुंबई, ता. २८ : मुंबईतप्रस्तावित असलेल्या कोस्टलरोडला दिवंगत शिवसेनाप्रमुखबाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांचे नावदेण्याची मागणी शिवसेनेने'काही दिवसांपूर्वी केली आहे.मंगळवारी सभाजवादी पक्षानेशिवसेनेवर कुरघोडी केली. यामार्गाला माजी राष्ट्रपती ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम यांचे नावदेण्याची मागणी पक्षाचे आमदारअबू आझमी यांनी केली.
नरिमन पॉईंट तेकांदिवलीपर्यंतच्या ३३किलोमीटरच्या या मार्गालाशिवसेनाप्रमुख बाळासाहेबठाकरे यांचे नाव द्यावे, अशी मागणी शिवसेनेने केलीआहे. त्याविषयीचे पत्र त्यांनीमुख्यमंत्री देबेंद्र फडणवीसयांना दिले आहे. मंगळवारीसमाजवादी पक्षाने अब्दुलकलाम यांचे नाव देण्याचीमागणी केली. मुंबईतीलअनेक मोठ्या प्रकल्पांच्यानामकरणावरून यापूर्वीही वाद ,झाले होते. आता कोस्टलरोडला कुणाचे नाव द्यावे,यावरूनही राजकारण रंगू लागलेआहे.
