Chief Minister assures the delegation of a solution to the problems of the Koli community

Along with Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, a delegation of the Koli National Federation President Ramesh Patil recently met with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding various issues of the Koli community. On this occasion, he presented seven memorandums to the Chief Minister regarding various problems of the Koli community, to which the Chief Minister assured a solution.

Since fishermen do not get caste certificate and caste validity certificate on time, students and employees have to face many problems, said Chetan Patil, Youth President of the Koli Federation. Prakash Bobdi, Executive Chairmanof the Federation, raised the issue of demarcation of villages- gaothans in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Damage inflicted upon the Koli members living along the beach, in Navi Mumbai due to land acquired in the name of development and fish ponds, the destruction of the salt pans due to the upcoming airport at Navi Mumbai and the suffering of the indigenous sons of the soil - complaints about many issues like this were made to the Chief Minister.
If the close relatives of the family have caste validity certificate, it is important to give caste validity certificate to everyone in that family.

Rumors about fish; Demand to take action
Alibaug, 5 (Informer): The Alibaug Koli community has demanded that cases should be filed against those who have harmed fishermen by spreading rumors that the fish found on the Navgaon beach is unfit for consumption. This statement was given to the Superintendent of Police on Wednesday (4th) afternoon.
Due to the spread of such rumors via social media, experts confirmed after a preliminary inspection that the fish is fit for consumption. Anchovies, Prawns, and Baby Prawns along with sting rays have been available on Navgaon beach for the past five days. Rumor has it that this is happening due to pollution. The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute inspected and submitted a report in this regard. Avinash Nakhwa, Assistant Commissioner, Fisheries Department, said that these fish are coming to the shore due to the climate change.

मासळीबाबत अफवा;कारवार्डची मागणी
अलिबाग, ता. ५ (बातमीदार): नेबगांव समुद्रकिनाऱ्यावर मिळतअसलेली मासळी खाण्यास अयोग्यअसल्याची अफवा पसरवूनमच्छीमारांचे नुकसान करणाऱ्यांवरगुन्हे दाखल करावेत, अशी मागणीअलिबाग कोळी समाजाने केली आहे.तसे निवेदन बुधवारी (ता.४) दुपारीपोलिस अधीक्षकांना देण्यात आले.
सोशल मीडियाद्वारे अशाअफवा पसरल्याने मच्छीमारांचेनुकसान होत आहे, हे मासे खाण्यासयोग्य असल्याचा निर्वाळा प्राथमिकपाहणीनंतर तज्ज्ञांनी दिला. पाचदिवसांपासून स्टिंग रे जातीच्यामाशांसह मांदेली, कोळंबी, जवळाहे मासे नवगाव समुद्रकिनाऱ्यावरमिळत आहित. प्रदूषणामुळे हा प्रकारहोत आहे, अशी अफवा आहे.याबाबत सेंट्रल मरीन फिशरीज रिसर्चइन्स्टिट्यूटने पाहणी करून अहवालसादर केला. हमावामानातील बदलानेहे मासे किनाऱ्यावर येत आहेत, असेमत्स्यव्यवसाय विभागाचे सहायकआयुक्‍त अविनाश नाखवा यांनीसांगितले.
