Whale found at Sassoon Dock was hunted
Mumbai, 15: The post-mortem report has revealed that the 25-foot whale, which was brought to the Sassoon dock in Colaba on Wednesday (13th), died of suffocation. Range Forest Officer Suresh Varak said that this fish died only a day ago and it was hunted as it was fresh. The fish’s gills have been sawed off, therefore, the mystery behind this incident has increased. At present, a complaint has been filed in the police station and the police have arrested two people.
A 25-foot-long, 2-ton whale was brought in by a fisherman off the coast of Sassoon Dock on Wednesday morning. The whale is said to have been brought ashore dead. As soon as the fisheries department got wind about this, the officials reached the spot.

मुंबई, ता. १५ : कुलाब्यातीलससून डॉकमध्ये बुधवारी (ता. १३)आणलेल्या २५ फुटी देवमाशाचामृत्यू हा गुदमरून झाला असल्याचेशवविच्छेदन अहवालातून समोर आलेआहे. या माशाचा मृत्यू केवळ एकदिवस आधी झाला असून तो ताजाअसल्याने त्याची शिकार झाल्याचेरेंज फॉरेस्ट ऑफिसर सुरेश वरक यांनीसांगितले, दरम्यान, या देवमाशाचेकल्ले कापून नेल्याचे समोर आलेआहे. त्यामुळे या घटनेमागील गूढवाढले आहे. सध्या याप्रकरणी पोलिसठाण्यात तक्रार दाखल करण्यात आलीअसून पोलिसांनी दोघांना अटक केलीआहे.
ससून डॉकच्या किनाऱ्यावरबुधवारी सकाळी एका मच्छीमाराने२५ फूट लांब आणि दोन टनवजनी देवमासा आणला.देवमासा मृतावस्थेत किनाऱ्यावरआणल्याचे सांगण्यात येते.मत्स्यव्यवसाय विभागाला याचीमाहिती मिळताच तेथीळ अधिकारीघटनास्थळी पोहोचले होते.
