मुंबई, ता. २२ : वरळीकोळीवाड्यातील १०० हूनअधिक उपकरप्राप्त इमारतींचासामूहिक पुनर्विकास कणण्याचाप्रस्ताव 'मम्हाडा'च्या विचाराधीनआहे. या इमारतींसह आसपासच्याझोपडंपट्ट्यांचाही यात. समावेशकण्याचा 'म्हाडा'चा विचार आहे. हापुनर्विकास नेमका कशा पद्धतीने साधतायेईल, याचा अभ्यास करण्यासाठी एकावास्तुशास््ज्ञाची नेमणूक करण्याचानिर्णय आज म्हाडाच्या मुंबई इमारतआणि दुरुस्ती मंडळाच्या झालेल्याबैठकीत घेण्यात आला आहे. 'म्हाडा'चेसभापती सचिन अहीर यांनी सकाळ'लाही माहिती दिली.
वरळी कोळीवाडा हा गावठाणम्हणून ओळखला जात असून, त्यात१३५ उपकरप्राप्त इमारती आहेत.या इमारती धोकादायक नसल्या तरीत्यांची वर्षानुवर्षे दुरुस्ती झालेलीनाही; तर कोळीवाड्यात कोणत्याहीपायाभूत सुविधा नाहीत. त्यामुळेपुनर्विकासाच्या माध्यमातून येथे विकाससाधण्याचा प्रयत्न म्हणून म्हाडा'ने हानिर्णय घेतला आहे. हा गावठाण भागअसून, तो सीआरझेड कायद्याखालीयेतो . तसेच इमारतीच्या आसपासझोपडपट्टीचा मोठा भाग आहे. त्यामुळेया पुनर्विकांसात बऱ्याच अडचणी येणारआहेत. म्हणूनच 'गूहनिर्माण धोरणातीलतरतुदींद्वारे गावठाणाचा, सीआरझेडक्षेत्राचा पुनर्विकास कसा साधता येईल,त्यासाठी कित्येक चटई निर्देशांक मिळेळेआणि यात झोपडपट्टो भागाला कसे र्षसमाविष्ट करता येईल याचा अभ्यासकण्यासाठी सर्वप्रथम म्हाडाकडून एकावास्तुशास्त्रज्ञाची निवड करण्यात येणार रआहे. महिनाभरात यासंबंधीचा अभ्यासकरून एक अहवाल तयार करणार आहे.या अहवालाच्या आधारावर वरळीकोळीवाडा पुनर्विकासाचा प्रस्ताव तयारकरून तो मंजुरीसाठी पाठविण्यात येणारअशी माहिती मुंबई इमारत आणिपुनर्रचना मंडळाचे उपमुख्य अभियंताएस. एस. लोहकरे यांनी दिलीं आहे.
